History of Southern Karting / Radical Racing Engines!
What started out as three
engine builders and a dog, has over the years developed
into a well known engine building full service kart
shop. The original man at the helm TJ. Newton, was
later joined by Matt Walker and Joe Nolan when the
shop was still being called Southern Karting. Over
the years the name has been tweaked several times
on it's way to being what we all know it now as
Southern Karting, Radical Racing Engines.
Between the three guys, the shop has a wealth of
karting experience with not only engine and chassis
setup but also some larger stock car racing engine
building and racing as well.
All of our staff is made up of experienced racers,
knowledgeable support / counter staff and custom
fabricators in the shop. Which means, we've got
the personnel on hand to assist you in the shop
or at the track or on custom projects.

We hit the track!
| In
addition to our store front location, we also
provide parts trailers to different race facilities
around our area. On a given weekend you can
find one of our trailers at the track supporting
all the racers. We race ourselves, so we know
what needs to be on the trailer too! |
